Hurray!! The Clog and Billycock’s new menu has arrived,
Combining the winning recipes of Nigel Haworth and The Clog’s Head Chef Marcus Hill which have been mixed together to produce a fresh new menu inspired by cuisine from all over the world, but inspired by the local area.
I had the pleasure of photographing the food, which at the end of the shoot, I got to sample. Absolutely amazing food prepared by Executive Head Chef from Northcote Manor, Lisa Goodwin-Allen and The Clog’s Head Chef Marcus Hill.
The Clog, still focuses on the best local and regional produce, from local suppliers such as Ascrofts, Simpsons Dairy, Taste Tradition, Greaves Butchers, Mrs Dowsons Ice Cream, Wellgate Fisheries, Leagrams Cheese, Mrs Kirkhams Cheese, Sandhams Cheese, Johnson & Swarbrick, and many more local quality suppliers.
The Chefs prepared mouth watering dishes like Mixed Vegetable Tempura, Asian King Prawn Curry, Sicilian Lemon Sponge, Seafood and Shellfish Gratin, Spicy Tempura of Soft Shell Crab with Red Chilli Salsa and Giles Shaw’s Wellgate Kiln-Smoked Salmon, Pikelets, Traditional Bits and Lemon.
The Menu represents the vibrant diversity of cultures and flavours that make up the surrounding area.
Definately worth a visit and highly recommended.
